(Wisconsin Radio Network) More state park passes are being sold thanks to a partnership.

According to the Wisconsin Radio Network, Governor Tony Evers announced Thursday that over 51-thousand parks passes have been purchased through a program that allows you to buy both a park pass and your annual vehicle registration from the D M V.

That’s more than 12 percent of the annual sales for passes, and has generated an extra 1 point 5 million dollars for the parks system.
