Carter: "So, we are beginning our event season for the holidays. So, you're going to see a lot more community events coming your way. We have downtown trick or treating tonight, which I'm really excited about."

"You'll see lots of people downtown enjoying Central Avenue, checking out what's downtown in terms of our businesses. Be sure to check out those side streets too. We have lots of fun activities all throughout the Business Improvement District."

"So, we can't wait to see you down there for downtown trick or treat. We're also getting ready for our holiday parade coming up here soon. It will be on November 19th and we look forward to seeing Santa and Mrs. Claus make their return to Marshfield."

Riley: "Anything else?"

Carter: "Yes, absolutely. So, you may see some more construction around downtown Marshfield. That's because we are starting to wrap up on our building revitalization grant programs."

"So, we provide funding for local businesses to improve their storefronts, whether that's the front of their building or the back. It makes it safer for everybody. Makes it make it more inviting."

"It really helps in terms of keeping our businesses open, occupied, and ready for business. So, you'll see quite a few projects. The most notable, one of the most notable ones that I can think of right now, is if you drive behind Off the Wall Custom Framing off of Central Avenue, behind the police station."

"There you'll see a huge improvement to the back entrance, where they have a new sign. They have new updated siding. It looks great. And then, also, on our building, behind The Vault, kind of behind Uptown Coffee, there's this gorgeous new mural that was put in through one of these programs and so it really helps enhance that alley space."

"So, we love tangible projects like this. There was a case study done that I think it was up to 80% of businesses saw increased sales from doing these renovations. So, we're really excited to see these projects coming to Marshfield."
