Max is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by East Valley Veterinarian Clinic located at 2510 Black River Road just North of Neillsville and east of the Black River. (https://
Name: Max
Age: 3-Years-Old
Breed: Mixed Breed
Meet Max, the CCHS Pet of the Week! This handsome 3-year-old Mixed Breed came to CCHS as a stray, and he has a personality that is impossible to miss! He is a handsome devil with a Brindle and white coat, and he weighs 64#.
Max is a big personality in a furry package. He can be loud, confident, and very much likes to make sure everyone knows what he thinks! But underneath all that sass is a sweet boy who is ready to find his person.
As you can see in his pictures, Max loves to play with a ball and roll around in the grass. Max is looking for a home where he can communicate his needs, be understood for who he is, and be loved for the wonderfully opinionated dog that he is.
He may not be the quietest guy in the room, but he has plenty of love to give. If you appreciate a dog with personality and aren’t afraid of a little conversation, Max might be your guy! You can submit your adoption application for Max on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.
Have you heard about The Great CCHS Duck Hunt? Throughout the entire month of October, keep your eyes peeled while visiting participating local businesses. We’ve hidden numbered, themed ducks all throughout Neillsville just waiting to be discovered!
All you have to do is find a hidden CCHS duck, take your new little friend with you, bring it to the Clark County Humane Society, officially “adopt” your duck and receive a special Duck Adoption Certificate and a prize! A HUGE thank you to all of the businesses and organizations helping hide our little ducky fugitives!
