(Wisconsin Radio Network) Wisconsin’s dairy industry continues to do well in export markets, according to Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection Secretary Randy Romanski.
According to the Wisconsin Radio Network, he says dairy exports are up about 56% during a period of uncertainty in the markets. Romanski says Wisconsin just moved into the top ten states in the exports of ag, food and forestry products.
He credits the Wisconsin Initiative on Ag Exports, initiated by Governor Tony Evers in his first term, with helping Wisconsin producers find export markets.
