Neillsville Chamber of Commerce Spreads the Word About Changes to Change of Seasons Program

Tuesday, October 6th, 2026 -- 2:00 PM

The Neillsville Chamber of Commerce was recently contacted about helping spread the word about a great community program called Change of Seasons.

Each fall, volunteers help rake leaves for elderly residents in the Neillsville area who may not be able to take care of their yards themselves. In the past, volunteers would all come together on one Saturday, but this year they are trying something a little different.

They are looking for businesses, groups, families, or organizations willing to adopt a yard and take care of the raking on a day that works for them. The commitment can be as simple as gathering a few coworkers, friends, or family members, bringing your own rakes, and spending an hour or two helping someone in our community. The leaves simply need to be raked to the curb, not into the road.

The goal is to get the yards taken care of sometime during the last week of October or the first week of November. If your business or group would be interested in adopting a yard, please reach out to Judy at 715-937-0675 and she can help get you connected with a yard.

This is a small way to make a big difference for someone in our community, and the Chamber would love to see members get involved. The Chamber thanks you for all the ways you continue to show up for Neillsville and the people who call it home.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
