Infrastructure Projects Around the State Getting a Boost

(Wisconsin Radio Network) Infrastructure projects across the state are getting a boost.

According to the Wisconsin Radio Network, Governor Tony Evers announced $370 million in federal funding will go towards road and bridge projects in Wisconsin. Evers says the money will help improve transportation infrastructure in both rural and urban communities.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, more than 9,600 miles of roads and 2,400 bridges have already been improved since 2019. This latest funding round will support 195 approved projects, selected from 330 applications submitted by local governments and agencies statewide.
