Case of Measles Reported in Chippewa County

(Wisconsin Radio Network) Another measles case in western Wisconsin.

According to the Wisconsin Radio Network, the Department of Health Services on Tuesday confirmed a case of the highly contagious illness in Chippewa County. This case does not have any known public exposure at this time.

Cases have now been found in six total counties, including Iowa, Marathon, Lafayette, Vernon and Grant. D H S will issue updates if any of the current cases spread, and urge all residents to get their M M R vaccinations if they never got them.
