"Doomscrolling" Becoming a Problem for A Lot of People

(Wisconsin Radio Network) “Doomscrolling” or endlessly reading and watching bad news on your devices is becoming a problem for a lot of people.
According to the Wisconsin Radio Network, Madison College marketing professor Steve Noll says a lot of news and headlines are designed to get a kneejerk reaction out of people.
Noll says you should put down the phone if you find yourself getting anxious about what you’re reading, and make sure you’re not sharing clickbait news stories without checking to see if they are true or not.
