Diesel Fuel in Wisconsin as High as it's Ever Been

(Wisconsin Radio Network) The price of diesel fuel in Wisconsin is as high as it’s ever been.

According to the Wisconsin Radio Network, the Triple-A Fuel Prices page shows the average price for diesel just shy of $6.13 a gallon as of Wednesday, up two cents from Tuesday and an increase of $2.69 from a year ago.

It’s the same story nationally, with diesel at a record high $6.31 a gallon according to Triple-A. The price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline, just over $4.10, is 26 cents below the national average, with higher prices in Northern and Central Wisconsin.
