(Wisconsin Radio Network) Scammers are using exam anxiety to try and trap college students into sending them money.
According to the Wisconsin Radio Network, Wisconsin Better Business bureau spokesperson Lisa Schiller says the scam starts with an email or text message offering help passing exams or tests.
Another person will then start contacting you, saying they know “you’re trying to cheat” and demand money or else they’re get you expelled. If you get one of these messages offering help, make sure the sender is who they say they are by checking online.
