Man Arrested for Trespassing and Vehicle Pursuit Sentenced in Jackson County Court

(WEAU Staff, WEAU) A man arrested after he trespassed on a residence and later led police on a chase was sentenced in Jackson County Court, according to WEAU staff.
According to a press release from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, back on February 12 deputies were dispatched to a residence on Maple Rd. in the Town of Irving on a report of a person who had entered a residence unlawfully.
Upon arrival of a deputy, the suspect, identified as Stephan Lee, fled in a passenger vehicle. A pursuit began with speeds reaching at least 80 mph. The vehicle came to a stop in a driveway where Lee was taken into custody.
Lee was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, resisting or obstructing an officer, criminal trespass to a dwelling, and disorderly conduct. Another charge was dismissed and read in. He was given a withheld sentence of 2 years probation.
