Greenwood Middle/High School Place on Soft Lockdown Monday Morning Due to Medical Event

Greenwood Middle/High School was briefly placed in a soft lockdown Monday morning at 8:15 AM due to a medical event on campus.

The soft lockdown was initiated strictly as a precautionary measure to clear the hallways, protect  privacy, and ensure emergency personnel could attend to the individual quickly and safely. The situation was fully resolved, the lockdown was lifted, and all students and staff were safe and back to their normal daily routines.

The District thanks the Greenwood Emergency Services and Police Department for their quick response.
