Wood County Beaches Closing After Labor Day Weekend

Wood County beaches will remain open through Labor Day weekend, and will close for the season on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

We hope you enjoyed the beaches this year and we hope to see you again next year. All other park areas, including campgrounds, shelters, boat landings, disc golf courses, and walk trails remain open through October 31, 2026.

Cera Park, however, closes September 28. The Parks and Forestry main office will be closed on Labor Day, September 7, 2026. Fall is a beautiful time to enjoy the great outdoors.
