BBB Says Tools Scammers Use Are Entirely Legal

(Wisconsin Radio Network) You may be surprised to find out that the tools many scammers use to run their criminal networks are entirely legal.

According to the Wisconsin Radio Network, Wisconsin Better Business Bureau Spokesperson Lisa Schiller says most of the tech is the same as legitimate sales businesses use. Schiller says laws are in place to prevent spam calls but that they need to be expanded to include tech like text messages.
