Marshfield Common Council Seeking Applicants for the City’s Utility Commission

The Marshfield Common Council is seeking applicants to serve a seven-year term on the Utility Commission.
The Utility Commission is comprised of seven members of the public who reside within the area served by the City’s electric and water utilities. A majority of the commission members must reside within the City of Marshfield.
Individuals interested in serving on the commission should submit a letter of interest to the City Clerk, 207 W. 6th Street, Marshfield, WI, or by email to [email protected].
Letters must be received no later than 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2026. Candidates will make their first presentation before the Common Council on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, with the Common Council vote scheduled for Tuesday, September 22, 2026.
Residents and eligible utility customers interested in serving their community are encouraged to submit a letter of interest by the deadline. For additional information, please contact the City Clerk’s Office.
