Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Marshfield Happing Saturday, October 3rd

Friends, families, neighbors and local businesses are invited to come together on Saturday, October 3, for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Marshfield at Wenzel Family Plaza.

The annual walk is a chance for the community to stand together in support of the millions of individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease. Every step taken and every dollar raised helps provide care and support for those facing the disease while advancing critical research toward a cure.

The event is free and open to everyone, whether you’re walking in honor of a loved one, supporting a friend, or simply looking to make a difference in your community. Participants can register at act.alz.org/marshfield.

The morning begins at 9 a.m., followed by the Opening Ceremony at 10:10 a.m. One of the most meaningful moments of the day is the Promise Garden Ceremony, where each participant receives a Promise Garden flower representing their personal connection to Alzheimer’s.

Together, the colorful garden serves as a powerful reminder that no one faces this disease alone. The walk steps off at 10:30 a.m., with music and entertainment provided throughout the morning by Lifeline Events.

The Loyal FBLA will be there to help set up and cheer on walkers. Whether you have been personally impacted by Alzheimer’s or simply want to support your neighbors, organizers encourage everyone to come out, share in this meaningful event, and help bring hope to families across the Marshfield area.
