City of Marshfield Invites the Community to 9/11 25th Anniversary Memorial Ceremony

The City of Marshfield invites the community to attend a 9/11 25th Anniversary Memorial Ceremony on Friday, September 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Marshfield Fire Station.

Hosted by Marshfield Fire & Rescue, the event will honor those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, as well as the first responders, military personnel, and others who have served in the years since.

Marshfield Police, Wood County Sheriff’s Department, American Legion, and Veterans of Foreign Wars are partnering in the ceremony. The event will include a joint honor guard, short tours of the 9/11 Memorial, a light lunch following the ceremony, and fire and police vehicles on display.

The ceremony will be held on the apparatus apron in front of the Marshfield Fire Station. Parking at the station will be limited, and attendees are encouraged to park on nearby side streets. Please join us as we remember, honor, and never forget.
