Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library Has New Opportunities for Readers and Writers
Monday, August 17th, 2026 -- 9:00 AM
Fall will see some new opportunities for readers and writers at the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library.
On September 8, we will hold the first meeting of our new Sci-Fi & Fantasy Book Club. This group will meet bi-monthly to discuss a variety of titles and styles in the realm of science fiction and fantasy.
At this first meeting they will discuss the book What Moves the Dead by T.J. Kingfisher and take suggestions for what the next book to read should be. This book can be requested through their online catalog or at any of the service desks.
Whether you're brand new to sci-fi and fantasy or an experienced reader, all are welcome to participate in this exciting new group. As for writers, the Library is working planning their first ever Autumn Author Showcase for Saturday, November 7th.
They are looking to highlight published works by local authors and connecting those authors to new audiences in the community. Any author who wishes to participate in this event should email Steve at [email protected] for information and registration.
Registration must be completed by October 5. The leaves may be falling but the opportunities at the Library keep growing all year round.
Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
