The Neillsville Police Department arrested one individual after an incident in Gross Motors.

According to a press release from the Department, on August 10th, at approximately 9:10am, David Schutz of Neillsville entered Gross Motors and allegedly began threatening and spitting at employees, causing a disturbance inside the business.

Staff asked Schutz to leave the property, but he refused. At one point, Schutz also began answering incoming calls to the dealership without authorization. Officers from the Neillsville Police Department responded to the business with assistance from the several members of the Clark County Sheriff’s Department.

During the incident, the Neillsville Police Department contacted Clark County Human Services in an effort to obtain assistance for Schutz. Those efforts were unsuccessful.

During the subsequent investigation, officers learned that Schutz had previously been employed by Gross Motors for a short period in 2017 and that his employment had been terminated. As a result of the incident, Schutz was arrested for disorderly conduct and trespassing and transported to the Clark County Jail.
