Loyal FCCLA Members Attend National Leadership Conference

Earlier this month, Loyal FCCLA members traveled to Washington, D.C. for the National Leadership Conference, and they represented the chapter beautifully.

Seven students earned silver ratings and one earned gold:

• Regan D, Level 1 Chapter Service Project (Gold)
• Madeline S and Sophie W, Interior Design, Level 2
• Maleia S, Early Childhood Education, Level 3
• Jillian R, Repurpose and Redesign, Level 3
• Kendyll H, Katarina S and Maren S, Event Management, Level 1
• Kallen K, Impromptu Speaking

Beyond the competition, students attended Rally the Red on Capitol Hill, explored the Museum of Natural History, and visited the Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument in the evening.

Experiences like these, learning, competing, and navigating a new city together (metro adventures and all!) are what FCCLA is all about. The District thanks everyone who supports their students on trips like this one and a big thanks to Nikki Rueth and Danielle Dunbar for their chaperone assistance.
