City of Neillsville Starting Road Construction on Monday, July 27th on Ferguson and W. 2nd St.

Beginning Monday, July 27th, the City of Neillsville will begin roadway and utility improvements on Ferguson Street and W. 2nd St.

The construction will start at W. 5th Street and continue to Grand Avenue. Work will include road pulverizing and paving, curb and gutter replacement, sewer repairs, utility improvement and final asphalt surface.

Residents may experience temporary road closures, detours, construction equipment in the neighborhood, temporary driveway closures while work is occurring, dust and construction noise, and limited on-street parking during active construction.

The contractor will make every effort to maintain access to homes whenever possible. Residents will receive advance notice whenever temporary driveway closures are necessary. The work is expected to be completed by August 31st, weather permitting.
