Clark County Board of Supervisors Approves Resolution for Sustainable Funding for Local Health Departments

The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution regarding health department funding at their meeting on Thursday.

The Board approved a resolution asking the State of Wisconsin to provide sustainable funding for local public health departments. The resolution will be forward to the Wisconsin govenor, state legislature, and other entities.

The Board also approved a resolution offering the county’s support to Mosaic Technologies as they seek grant funding to expand broadband technologies in Clark County.

The Board also approved to disallow a claim from an individual who claims she was injured while being arrested by the Clark County Sheriff’s Department. The Board also approved a couple appointments.

Finally, the Board heard a presentation from the Clark County Governing Bodies Rule, the ADRC regarding a home delivered meals marketing video, and heard the 2025 Annual Report from the Clark County UW-Extension Office.
