Two Hurt in UTV Crash in the Township of Hansen in Wood County

Monday, July 13th, 2026 -- 4:00 PM

On July 11, 2026 at approximately 2:44 p.m. the Wood County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to a single UTV crash on Lincoln Road near Spruce Road in the Township of Hansen. 

Preliminary investigation shows that the UTV was traveling eastbound on Lincoln Road when it entered the ditch and overturned. The male operator and female passenger both sustained injuries from the crash.

The female passenger was airlifted to Marshfield Medical Center. The male operator was treated on scene by medical personnel and released. The Wood County Sheriff's Department was assisted on scene by Vesper Fire Department, Pittsville Fire Department, Life Link III, and Nieman's Towing.
