A Medford man arrested for grooming a child for sexual activity appeared in Manitowoc County Court this past Thursday.
Nathan Brase was arrested back in June by the Two Rivers Police Department after they received a tip that he was communicating with a minor. An arrest warrant was issued with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service, the Marathon County Sheriff's Office, the Wood County Sheriff's Office and the Medford Police Department at Brase's residence.
He was taken into custody in Taylor County before being extradited to the Manitowoc County Jail. Brase is facing charges of exposing genitals to a child, expose child to harmful materials, grooming a child for sexual activity, solicit intimate representation from a minor, and intimidate a victim.
During his court appearance, he waived his preliminary hearing and entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him. He’s scheduled to be back in court on August 21st.
