Clark County Business Pitch Competition: First Session in Thorp and Colby this Week

The 1st Ever Clark County Business Pitch Competition is taking place on August 17th.

Have a great business idea, but don’t know where to start? Join UW-Stout’s Center for Innovation & Development, UW-Extension Madison, and Clark County Economic Development Corporation for one of four hands-on sessions to turn your vision into a real business.

You’ll learn business essentials, mastering basic entrepreneurship skills. Strategic planning, get technical assistance to build a solid business plan. The pitch and marketing, learn how to market your idea and yourself and to build a strong foundation.

Launch your small business with a clear roadmap for sustainable success. Sessions are held Mondays and Wednesday from 6pm-8pm throughout July. Dates and locations include July 13th at the FairBridge Inn & Suites in Thorp, July 15th at the Colby City Hall, July 20th at the Loyal City Hall, and July 22nd at the Neillsville City Hall.
