Wood County Sheriff’s Department Helps Injured Bald Eagle

The Wood County Sheriff’s Department recently helped an injured bald eagle.

On Thursday, July 9th, deputies were called to the Township of Rock near Eisenhauer Drive and CTH V for an injured bald eagle. Sgt. Leigh and Deputy Johnson were able to catch the eagle which was turned over to the Raptor Group for further treatment.

The Department appreciates all the volunteers from the Raptor Group that transported and is treating the injured bird.
