Neillsville Heritage Days: Saturday's Activities

Neillsville Heritage Days is happening this weekend.
The theme of Heritage Days this year is “A Balanced Legacy” as the City celebrates the retirement of Rex Roehl, the City’s dedicated Clerk and Treasurer for over 40 years. There will be a scavenger hunt all weekend long.
Saturday’s activities include the Kids Race from 8am-8:30am and The Grand 5K at 9am. Registration for both starts at 7:30am at Grit Nutrition. The Golf Outing is from 9am-Noon, registration is from 8am-8:45am with a shotgun start at 9am.
The Heritage Days Kayak Fun Run at Opelt Park begins at 10am. Registration is from 9:15am-9:45am at Opelt Park. Must be 16 and older with a signed waiver from a parent and kayaks and life jackets provided or you can bring your own.
There will also be volleyball at The Brickyard. The Rock Tailgater is happening from 10am-5pm in the lower pavilion. Wisconsin Pinery is happening from 10am-4pm, Family Fun Day in Schuster Park is from Noon-4pm, and the Chicken Dinner at the Neillsville Legion is from Noon-4pm.
The Neillsville Legion is also hosting the Bean Bag Tourney at 1pm. Registration begins at 12:30pm and it’s a $10 entry fee. Beer tent opens at 5pm and the band Uncommon Denominator performs from 6:30pm-10:30pm.
