Helen is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by East Valley Veterinarian Clinic located at 2510 Black River Road just North of Neillsville and east of the Black River. (https://eastvalleyvetclinic.net/)

Name: Helen

Age: 4-Years-Old

Breed: Cattle Dog/Red Heeler

Meet Helen, proof that resilience comes in the sweetest package. Helen is a remarkable 4-year-old Cattle Dog/Red Heeler with a heart full of love. Though she is blind and has a heart murmur, she doesn't let her challenges define her.

Helen's loving spirit shines brighter than any obstacle. Helen is kind, gentle, and eager to form a close bond with someone willing to open their heart to a special-needs dog. Helen is incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate.

She is looking for a special family willing to give her the patience, understanding, and care she deserves. Helen may need a little extra care, but she has a lot of extra love to give. At 4 years old, she's a sweet and gentle companion who navigates life with courage and trust.

She's searching for a family that will see beyond her disabilities and appreciate the amazing dog she truly is. You can submit your adoption application for Helen on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

During the whole month of July, it's time for "Stars, Stripes and Shelter Pets" at CCHS! It's an adoption promotion for our adult dogs. Adoption fees will be just $50 on select adult dogs. You will also get a special handmade surprise to take home, plus you can Spin the Wheel for an extra bonus gift!

You can learn more on our website: https://www.cchs-petshelter.org. It's the perfect opportunity to add a wonderful new dog to your family,  because every pet deserves the freedom to be loved.

You can learn more about, and adopt, Helen, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.
