Osseo Man Arrested for 7th OWI

(WEAU Staff, WEAU) An Osseo, Wis. man is accused of a 7th OWI offense, according to WEAU Staff.

According to a press release from the Wisconsin State Patrol, 59-year-old James Lusk was arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Eau Claire Post on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 7th offense.

The press release says on June 26, 2026, at about 10:21 p.m., troopers responded to a driving complaint and found the suspect vehicle traveling in the city of Osseo. The vehicle was stopped at Highway 10 and Rose Lane for unsafe lane deviation.

When troopers made contact with the driver identified as Lusk, troopers noticed signs of impairment. Standardized field sobriety tests were conducted on Lusk, and Lusk was arrested on suspicion of a 7th offense operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

Lusk was turned over to the Trempealeau County Jail.
