ENT & Allergy Associates Close Wisconsin Rapids Location as of June 30th

Wednesday, July 1st, 2026 -- 8:01 AM

ENT & Allergy Associates, the premier ear, nose, throat (ENT), allergy/asthma and hearing specialists with a mission to provide local care to patients of all ages through its physician-owned, patient-centered care model, will close its Wisconsin Rapids outreach location on June 30, 2026.

Patients will find their same providers with additional scheduling and care options at ENT & Allergy Associates’ Stevens Point location. “We want to thank the Wisconsin Rapids Community for over 22 years of support as we hold local access to quality, specialty care in the highest regard. Serving the residents of Wisconsin Rapids and our Southern Region has been a fulfilling endeavor and will remain a priority for us."

"While the notification that we would no longer have access to our outreach clinic space was unexpected, we were able to quickly respond and open additional access at our new Stevens Point location to accommodate our Wisconsin Rapids community and keep our specialty care closer to them,” said Jennifer Hinker, CEO of ENT & Allergy Associates.

ENT & Allergy Associates opened a full-time clinic on Vern Holmes Drive in Stevens Point last year that serves residents from throughout the southern region of central Wisconsin with specialty care, easy parking, scheduled appointments and Walk-In care.

“We value our long-term trusted relationship with our referring primary care partners and patients in Wisconsin Rapids. We look forward to continuing to provide patient-centered care through our Stevens Point location,” said ENT & Allergy Associates practice president Dr. David Edmondson.

“Independent healthcare practices like ENT & Allergy Associates play a critical role in providing communities with options, access and high-quality specialty services, and our sole focus remains ensuring residents can continue to hear well, breathe well and be well.”

All impacted patients have already been notified and rescheduled. Providers who have historically seen patients in Wisconsin Rapids will provide the same availability and access in the group’s Stevens Point building, with additional access available at their locations in Antigo, Medford, Rhinelander and Wausau.
