Wisconsin Rapids Man Wins Kwik Trip Red Zone Midwest Tour Sweepstakes

A Wisconsin Rapids man is driving away in a new vehicle after being named a winner in the Kwik Trip Red Zone Midwest Tour Sweepstakes.

Charles Johnson of Wisconsin Rapids took delivery of a 2026 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 on Friday at Wheelers, located at 2410 W. Grand Ave. in Wisconsin Rapids. Johnson received $50,000 toward a vehicle of his choice through the sweepstakes.

The delivery event was held at Wheelers, the dealership located next to the Kwik Trip where Johnson got his vehicle. Representatives from Kwik Trip and Wheelers were on hand as Johnson selected the truck and received the keys.\

“This is such an exciting moment for Charles and for Wisconsin Rapids,” said Mary Jo Wheeler, owner of Wheelers. “We’re proud to be part of this celebration and to help Charles drive away in a vehicle he’s truly excited about.”

Johnson selected a 2026 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2, a midsize pickup known for its off-road capability and rugged design. The prize was awarded through Kwik Trip’s Red Zone Midwest Tour Sweepstakes, which gave Johnson $50,000 toward a new vehicle.\

Johnson said the prize came as a surprise. “I’m excited to drive this, it’s awesome,” Johnson said, adding that he and his wife have wanted a truck for a long time.
