The 250 Mobile Museum Now Coming to The Highground Veterans Memorial Next Week, June 9th & 10th
Friday, June 5th, 2026 -- 12:01 PM

Fast Forward! The 250 Mobile Museum is arriving EARLIER than planned.
It will now be open at The Highground next week, June 9-10, instead of the originally scheduled dates. The mobile museum will be open both days from 10am-5pm. This 2026 nationwide initiative features several “Freedom Trucks”, 80-foot tractor-trailer interactive museums, separately traveling the U.S. to celebrate the 250th anniversary of American independence.
The mobile museum contains walk-through exhibitions detailing 250 years of American military and civilian history. The exhibits focus on how 13 colonies declared independence, overcame the British Empire and established the United States. The exhibit aims to encourage, celebrate, and educate citizens about the country’s founding principles.
This is an accessible exhibit with immersive exhibits. It includes several digital interactive stations and displays honoring 50 key American trailblazers. The exhibition is family friendly and admission is free.
