Two Thorp Students Audition for WSMA State Honors Band and Choir

On Saturday, April 11, Thorp students Makenzie R. and Adalynn F. traveled to South Middle School, Eau Claire for WSMA State Honors Band and Choir auditions.

Congratulations to Adalynn on her acceptance into the WSMA MS State Honors Band. Out of 41 alto saxophone auditions across the state of Wisconsin, she was 1 of 6 students selected for this wonderful opportunity.

Congratulations to Makenzie on her acceptance as a prioritized alternate as a soprano in the WSMA MS State Honors Choir and as an alternate on flute in the WSMA MS State Honors Band.

There were 145 soprano and 78 flute students that auditioned from across the state of Wisconsin, only 27 sopranos and 16 flutes were accepted.
