Intersection of WIS 73 and WIS 80 Near Pittsville Closed for Construction

(Desiree Fischer, WSAW) The intersection of WIS 73 and WIS 80 near Pittsville is closed for construction.

Crews will be reconstructing the intersection into a roundabout. WIS 80 through Pittsville will also be resurfaced. The project also includes curb and gutter replacements and sidewalk work.

While the intersection is closed, traffic will be detoured on County X to WIS 54 to WIS 73. County A will be detoured to County C. The Pittsville Police Department is reminding drivers to follow the detour.

Do not drive around the barricades. They say citations will be issued for failure to obey the posted traffic signs. According to the Wisconsin DOT, the project is scheduled to be completed at the end of August.
