Thorp Student Receives WSMA Exemplary Performance Recognition Award

Thorp student Elliot Cox was chosen to receive the WSMA Exemplary Performance Recognition Award for her Alto Solo performance at this year's State Solo & Ensemble Festival at UW Eau Claire.

The Exemplary Performance Recognition Project expands recognition of outstanding performers at the WSMA State Solo & Ensemble Festival. State festival adjudicators select the most exceptional performances at each of the festival campuses through a two-step process.

Throughout the festival day, adjudicators nominate performers for the award. At the end of the festival day, the adjudicator may select up to two award recipients from the nominated performers in their festival site.
