Another Successful Spring Bake Sale at The Highground Veterans Memorial

On Saturday, May 16, The Highground hosted their annual Spring Bake Sale in support of The Highground Museum’s upcoming “Hidden Voices of the Holocaust” exhibition. 

This year’s bake sale raised $1,069, which is a vital contribution toward funding the exhibit. The project will create a several-month-long educational experience based on the children, heroes and personal stories documenting the rise of the Nazi Party and the horrors of the Holocaust.

“Hidden Voices of the Holocaust” includes several exhibits brought in from multiple Holocaust education centers, presentations for students during Education Days (September 29-October 2) and public community presentations by Holocaust scholar, Erez Cohen (October 1). 

The success of this year’s bake sale would not have been possible without the generosity and dedication of volunteers, guests and incredible bakers who donated their delicious treats.
