Vinter is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by East Valley Veterinarian Clinic located at 2510 Black River Road just North of Neillsville and east of the Black River. (https://eastvalleyvetclinic.net/)

Name: Vinter

Age: 3-Years-Old

Breed: Sheepdog/Poodle Mix

Meet Vinter, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Vinter came to CCHS as an owner surrender with his sister after their living situation became unsuitable. This handsome Sheepdog/Poodle mix is about 3 years and 4 months old and weighs roughly 87.2# currently.

Vinter was a bit of a mess when he came to the Shelter, but after a wonderful grooming job he is looking his handsome best! Vinter can be a bit of a bashful guy. He takes a little bit to warm up to new people but is very food motivated, so a few treats here and there might just wiggle your way up his totem pole!

While Vinter gets along with other dogs, he would benefit greatly from being the only pup in his furever home so that he can get all of the attention he'd like. With any rescue, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the pup. Apply for Vinter today! You can submit your adoption application on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

Do you have a love for cats and dogs and have been thinking it would be nice to help out at CCHS? Well, now's your chance! Whether it's a few hours a week, one day a month, or something in between, this is your opportunity to try it out. We are very much in need of volunteers!

You can learn more and sign up on our website: https://www.cchs-petshelter.org/volunteer or email April at [email protected]. Come join our CCHS volunteer family!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Vinter, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.
