Marathon County Sheriff’s Detective Recognized by Wisconsin Victim Witness Professionals Association

Marathon County Sheriff’s Detective Cassandra Seubert was formally recognized by the Wisconsin Victim Witness Professionals Association.

Detective Seubert had been recognized by the Marathon County District Attorney’s Office a few weeks ago for a similar award. Each year, the Association honors law enforcement officers, victim advocates, and other professionals who demonstrate outstanding commitment to supporting victims of crime.

This year, Detective Seubert was selected for her exceptional work on an especially complex and challenging case. In addition to her exemplary investigative efforts, which led to the successful prosecution and conviction of the offender(s), Detective Seubert went above and beyond to ensure the victim received any support they needed throughout the process.

The case for which Detective Seubert was recognized represents just one example of the compassion, empathy, dedication, and professionalism she brings to every investigation. The Department is incredibly proud of her accomplishments and grateful that her work has been acknowledged.
