Marshfield Fire & Rescue Department Responds to Apartment Fire on Weber Avenue

On Wednesday, May 13th, around 7:36pm, the Marshfield Fire & Rescue Department responded to 701 N. Weber Avenue for smoke showing from an apartment window.
Upon arrival there was visible light smoke showing from a second-floor window of the apartment. All residents were confirmed to have exited the building prior to fire crews making entry to extinguish the fire.
One apartment tenant suffered minor smoke inhalation. Smoke and fire caused moderate damage to the apartment. The fire was determined to have been caused by cooking and was contained to a single apartment.
