All Wood County ATV/UTV Trails Opening this Friday, May 15th

All Wood County ATV/UTV Trails will open for the season at 7:00 am Friday, May 15, 2026.

Riders are reminded to stay on the designated trails, obey all signs and to please ride responsibly and safely.

Trails Opening on May 15, 2026 are:

• Peterson Road to Hay Creek Road Trail in the Town of Hiles;
• The New Range Road Connector Trail running from Wood County ATV Intensive Use Area on State Highway 54, north to Range Road in the Town of Seneca.

Wood County trails are subject to periodic closure; for updates on recent closures and /or openings and interactive trail maps, please visit our website at www.woodcountywi.gov/Departments/Parks/.
