Tuesday, May 12th, 2026 -- 4:01 PM

The Clark County Sheriff’s Department searched for, and located, a missing 81-year-old from the Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center.

On Monday May 11, 2026, at about 6:19pm, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a resident of the Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center that had walked away at about 6:00pm and not returned. The caller said 81-year-old Tamarya Shymanski had left the building and had not been seen since.

She was last seen walking east from the Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center along a dead end road. Officers searched the area with the Owen-Withee-Curtiss Area EMS and Fire Department and the Life Link helicopter.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Department sent an email just after 3am this morning stating that Tamarya had been found and thanked everyone for their assistance including assisting law enforcement agencies like the Owen-Withe-Curtiss Area EMS and Fire Department and Life Link III Helicopter.
