“Mugs for Moms” Donates Coffee Machine and Hand-Painted Clay Mugs to Marshfield Children’s Hospital

When Anna Peterson's son was battling leukemia at a young age, it was a simple act of kindness from a Marshfield Children's Hospital nurse that stuck with her, bringing her a fresh cup of coffee in a mug, instead of a Styrofoam cup.
Anna said it helped her feel like a person and enjoy a moment of calm in a chaotic time. Now, years later, she wanted to pay it forward and give that same sense of calm to families who have kids in the hospital.
She and her 'Mugs for Moms' group recently donated a brand new coffee machine, along with 58 hand-painted clay mugs, to the children's hospital.
