Clark County HCE Cultural Arts Contest Held April 18th

The 2026 Clark County HCE Cultural Arts contest was held on April 18th at Posy Patch Greenhouse on their annual HCE day event and luncheon.

The judges were Donna Voss and Mary Neunfeldt. There were 24 items entered with 12 items selected to go to state competition in Eau Claire in September. They are as follows:

• Lois Becker- Diamond Art
• Donna Eckes- Embroidery
• Debbie Gries- Acrylic Painting
• Watercolor
• Embossed-Engraved metal
• Pieced- Bed Quilt
• Roberta Hansen—Wood Applique
• Mary Nauertz- Sewing-Pillow
• Deb Ortner-Hand quilted- large quilt and small quilt
• Machine quilted- table runner
• Joanne Trunkel- Fabric Basket

Debbie Gries also received the peoples choice award for her large tote bag. HCE collected $64.98 for Pennies for Friendship. HCE is an active organization in Clark County. If you are interested in joining please call Lois Becker at 715-255-8307.
