Rich Seubert's Celebrity Trap Shoot Raises More Than $80,000 in Support of the NICU at Marshfield Children's Hospital

Marshfield and Menomonie-based company Quality Roofing proudly served as a major sponsor of the 18th Annual Rich Seubert’s Celebrity Trap Shoot, held Saturday, April 18.

The event brought together more than 200 shooters, spectators, volunteers, and supporters for a day of community, competition, and charitable impact. Thanks to the generosity of all involved, the event raised more than $80,000 in support of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Marshfield Children’s Hospital, helping provide critical, lifesaving care for the region’s most vulnerable newborns.

Owners Mark and Patricia Begotka said, “We are always proud to sponsor and participate at this event. Several outdoor activities, from bidding to axe throwing to shooting, bring out the best, and most fun, in everyone involved. It is an event that people really seem to look forward to each spring. When we started 18 years ago we would have never guessed the amount of money that has been raised over the years.”

This year’s event also highlighted the powerful story of Lyla, a former NICU patient. Born at just 23 weeks and weighing only 1 pound, 3 ounces, Lyla spent 122 days in the Level III NICU at Marshfield Children’s Hospital.

Her journey serves as a reminder of the lifesaving impact these funds make possible. Quality Roofing extends its gratitude to Sanford/MCHS Foundation, the Eau Claire Rod & Gun Club and all participants, volunteers, sponsors, and organizers who contributed to the success of this year’s event.
