BRABAZON A NO-SHOW

Wednesday, March 4th, 2009 -- 11:23 AM

The ex-girlfriend of and area state representative failed to show up for her initial appearance on charges she broke into his home.

Lisa Brabazon has been charged with criminal trespass and criminal damage to property, both misdemeanors, after she allegedly broke into Rep. Scott Suder?s home in September 2007.

According to court documents, Suder kicked Brabazon out of his Abbotsford home after finding she had used his credit cards and checking accounts without permission.

The charges claim Brabazon broke into the home while Suder was gone. She allegedly broke out a basement window, severely cutting herself on the glass. Police reports indicate there was blood throughout Suder's home.

She is already facing 15 felonies for misusing Suder?s accounts. Those charges were filed in Marathon County, where most of the alleged misuse occurred. The new charges are filed in Clark County by special prosecutor Gerald Fox of Jackson County.

Brabazon, who?s free on a $1,000 signature bond, failed to show up for her initial appearance Tuesday morning. The hearing will be rescheduled.

Her attorney has filed a motion to suppress an alleged admission Brabazon made to investigators.
