Ashley: "So, our Annual Downtown Wine and Beer Walk actually started 10 years ago. This is our 10th year already, somehow, and it actually started as a Leadership Marshfield project, which is a class through our chamber of commerce and there's usually a community project involved with the groups."

"And this group in particular wanted to do fundraiser benefiting a local nonprofit, but also really wanted to create some wonderful exposure for our downtown businesses. And so that's kind of how our event was born."

"And so participants get to interact and go to many of our local downtown shops and sample different wines and beers and also cheeses courtesy of Nasonville Dairy. So ,just really a great way to find out all the special and unique offerings that Marshfield downtown really has to offer."

Riley: "And now people do need to purchase tickets for that. Can you tell us the cost of those and where those can be purchased?"

Ashley: "Yes, so the cost is $30 a ticket. They can be purchased using a link on our website or our Facebook page. So, everything is online or you can, if you would like to pay via cash or check, stop into our office and we're located at 612, West Blodgett Street here in town."

Riley: "And now another thing I noticed is when it comes to the event itself, people need to register at the Second Street Community Center before the event gets started. Is that how that works?"

Ashley: That is correct? Yes. So, everybody will register before they and just get all their belongings and supplies and gifts prior to heading out on their self guided tour."

Riley: And then, of course, I mean, I think it would be obvious, but we should probably mention that this is 21 and older, correct."

Ashley: "That is correct."

Riley: Now, if people want to learn more about the event, where's a good place for them to go to do that?"

Ashley: "Visiting our website, at marshfieldareaunitedway.org or our Facebook page, which is facebook.com/marshfieldareaunitedway."
