Granton Students Partner with Atmus of Neillsville to Learn About Volunteerism
Friday, April 24th, 2026 -- 11:00 AM
Last week, Granton students in grades 7-12 participated in many life skills mini-sessions.
In one session, sponsored by Atmus of Neillsville, students learned about volunteerism. Along with Amanda Hensiak and Autumn Marg, students helped package food and hygiene kits to be donated to a place of the students’ choice.
Students then delivered the food and kits to two shelters for women and children, The Hannah Center in Marshfield and The House of Mercy in Loyal. During a tour of each place, students were reminded not to judge others before hearing their story, and to help whenever they see an opportunity.
Hygiene kits were also donated to the Neillsville Public Library and the Granton Public Library.
