Clark County law enforcement agencies are participating in the Drug Take Back event this Saturday, April 25th.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office, the Neillsville Police Department, and the Owen-Withee Police Department as well as the cities of Neillsville, Greenwood, and Owen, in conjunction with the Wisconsin Department of Justice and the Drug Enforcement Administration, will be participating in the event.
The locations include the Russell’s of Neillsville parking lot, monitored by the Neillsville Police Department; Wolf’s Tru Value parking lot in Greenwood, monitored by the Clark County Sheriff’s Department; and Martin’s Fresh Market parking lot in Owen, monitored by the Clark County Sheriff’s Department. The collection time for all three locations is from 10am-2pm.
All waste pharmaceuticals must be generated by a household; businesses are not allowed to participate. You can check the Wisconsin Department of Justice’s website for items that can and cannot be brought to the event (https://www.wisdoj.gov/PressReleases/press-release-drug-take-back-april-2026.pdf).
If you can’t make it to Saturday’s event, you can drop off your items at one of the county’s permanent spots at the Thorp Police Department, Loyal Police Department, Greenwood City Hall, Colby-Abbotsford Police Department, and the Clark County Sheriff’s Department.
