OPEN ENROLLMENT NUMBERS COMING IN

Local school boards will be mulling over the open enrollment numbers in the coming weeks.Open enrollment allows students to attend class at public schools outside their home district.
The application period closed last week.
Neillsville superintendent John Gaier says their district has 22 students coming and 13 going (+9). The incoming students are from neighboring districts, but they also have one request from Sparta.
The Loyal School District has 11 in-coming applications and 16 out-going applications (-5).
Information for the Greenwood and Granton school districts was not available.
