Coronavirus Numbers for December 24th

For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 2,689 positive cases, an increase of 21 over yesterday.  Of those, 127 are currently active.  Clark County has had 47 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 463,594 positive cases (an increase of 2,579 over the previous day) and 4,614 deaths, an increase of 69 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 20,519, or 4%, have been hospitalized.

For our other neighboring counties:

In total, Chippewa has seen 5,690 positive and 65 deaths.

Eau Claire has seen 8,908 positive and 71 deaths,

Jackson has seen 2,295 positive and 15 deaths.

Marathon has seen 11,487 positive and 153 deaths.

Taylor has seen 1,540 positive and 14 deaths

And Wood has seen a total of 5,411 positive cases and 38 deaths.
